Hi, I’m Redouan Bulaid, a Microsoft 365 and security enthusiast based in the Netherlands. My journey into IT is relatively recent – I made the switch just two and a half years ago (in 2023) from an entirely different field.

About Me

I studied Tax Law at Tilburg University, but after a while, I realized a legal career wasn’t where I wanted to be. While exploring other career paths, I discovered cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies, and I was hooked from the get-go.

The first two years were a blur of late nights, weekends spent studying and countless “aha!” moments. I’ve come a long way since then…

What I Do

I work as a Modern Work Specialist at an MSP in Eindhoven, where I spend most of my time deep in Intune and Defender XDR—especially helping organizations go cloud-only. I’m probabaly a good example of a new generation of IT professionals who are cloud-native at heart, on-prem infrastructure only when needed.

Why This Blog

I set up this blog for two reasons:

  • Personal Knowledge Base: Writing things down helps me solidify what I’ve learned, and it gives me a place to look back when I inevitably forget a command or concept. (has happened too many times)
  • Help Others: If you’re encountering the same problems I’ve faced, I hope you’ll find a solution here a little faster than I did.
